Soon he found that there were simply more people who needed his help than he could possibly service himself, so he built Pittsburgh’s premier home buying company. Having been born and raised here, and now raising a young family of his own, Matthew knows this city well. He has owned businesses in the Pittsburgh area for nearly 20 years and recognizes what makes the people of Pittsburgh unique. Jena has worked behind the scenes for Fifth Avenue Property Group since the beginning. Although she thoroughly enjoys managing the back office services and company financials, she is also passionate about overseeing the remodel and interior design of the homes in need. When not working on the business, she spends her time with her family, which includes a loving husband and 3 beautiful young children.
Karalyn Hipsley
Office Manager
Karalyn’s professional background includes marketing, sales, and human resources, including work for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium. As part of Fifth Avenue Property Group, Karalyn has worked diligently to identify sales opportunities and provide a customer service oriented experience that is unsurpassed. She brings with her multiple years of experience in the real estate industry with a focus on management, sales, and marketing. Exceptional leadership skills and detail oriented, Karalyn has proven to be a benefit to the company and our valued clients. In her free time, she enjoys recreational sports, traveling and spending time outdoors with her rescue pets.
Roberta Borovetz
Acquisitions Manager
While always having a passion for real estate, and after graduating from Penn State, Roberta began her career in NYC working in finance on Wall Street and sales in the fashion industry. She returned to her hometown of Pittsburgh to be closer to her family, and began working with the Fifth Avenue Property Group. When she isn’t working, she enjoys running, playing a pickup game of football and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Aaron Thomas
Acquisitions Manager
Aaron started his career in the financial services industry. Over the years he’s opened multiple practices with a focus on wealth protection and accumulation strategies for a broad range of clientele. After most recently working with Mass Mutual, Aaron decide to shift his focus on real estate and joined the team at Fifth Avenue Property Group. Outside of work Aaron spends his time with his son and enjoys camping and fishing.

With over 15 years experience as an agent and broker, Tina serves as a consultant to the 5APG team. Whether assisting with transaction coordination or project management, Tina’s vast knowledge of Real Estate makes her an invaluable asset. When not busy in her career, Tina enjoys golf and spending time with her family.
Nick Curl
Creative Finance Director
Nick brings a wide array of knowledge, ranging from business owner to corporate sales manager. Handling all of the deal structuring for our creative finance options, Nick’s strategies allow us to purchase homes at full market value. When not busy helping sellers, Nick enjoys coaching baseball and hockey for his 3 young boys.
Schyler Robinson
Leads Manager
Schyler Robinson has worked in real estate since 2016 and has been with 5APG since 2018 working her way up to leads manager, where she enjoys being the first point of contact for any current or potential clients of the company. She has assisted with the start of two other real estate companies, where she gained the knowledge of different CRM platforms and phone systems as well as knowledge on lead generation and marketing. When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending her time with her four dogs and husband.
